ABC has pulled the plug on comedy “Samantha Who?” after two seasons.
The show currently has 7 episodes that have not aired. It has not been determined whether these episodes will be aired over the summer or if they would only be seen on the DVD release of the show’s second season

Samantha Who? The new sitcom with Christina Applegate starts at the 15th of October on ABC.

Synopsis:
After a hit & run car crash Samantha (Christina Applegate) falls into a coma. After 8 days she awakes but does not remember anything of her old life. Diagnose: Amnesia. So she needs to find out who she realy is!

Christina Applegate is returning to series television as the star of ABC’s comedy pilot “Sam I Am.” Jean Smart also has joined the project.

“Sam,” from ABC TV Studio and Brillstein-Grey TV, centers on a woman (Applegate) with amnesia who has to rediscover her life. Smart will play her self-absorbed mother.

Applegate had been heavily pursued to star in a series since the end of her previous show, NBC’s “Jesse,” but this is the first pilot she has agreed to do. The “Married With Children” alumna won an Emmy for her guest-starring role on NBC’s “Friends.” Her feature credits include “The Sweetest Thing,” “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” and “Employee of the Month.” She is repped by CAA, Management 360 and attorney Stephen Warren.

MTV.com will show the Video to “Public Affairs” on the 19th of Jule 2006 (tomorrow) – they will also show a making of.

Farce Of The Penguins, Bob Saget’s irreverent spoof of wildlife adventures, has found its female lead with Christina Applegate joining Saget as the voice of “Melissa,” his romantic foil. Lewis Black, Mo’Nique and Tracy Morgan have the other leading roles, with Samuel L. Jackson serving as his film’s narrator.

Saget says, “Having such a talented comedic actress as Christina Applegate play the part of ‘Melissa’ is another gift for this crazy film. My character, ‘Carl,’ has been dreaming his entire life to meet a penguin as grounded and sexually compatible as ‘Melissa’/Christina. She and Mo’Nique are adorable and hilarious together. I got very lucky that she and all the actors liked the material ’cause she fits in perfectly with the ensemble.”

The single will be released at the 29th of August 2006.

According to billboard.com the video will premiere on the 19th of July and that there will be also a “MTV Making the Video” too.

Jonathon Schaech has filed for divorce today at the Los Angeles Superior Court . As a reason “irreconcilable differences” are cited.
Schaech will be represented by the high profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
“The decision is mutual,” they said in a joint statement without further comment.

The pair married only 4 years ago in Palm Springs (Oct. 21, 2001).
